Timeline Running Wild!
This week during literacy we had to create a time line on what has happened so far in the book running wild written by Michael Morpurgo. This task was really fun so I am so glad that it was set for us this week. I hope you like it! :)

Shadow art
During lock down we got to chose to do this shadow art task. I chose to do it because it looked really fun. I also got my family involved. I hope you like it :)
Paralympic Choices
This week and during lock down we had to chose a few things to do of a choice board to do with the Paralympics. I chose to do the host poster from another year of the Paralympic games I chose Rio because I think it is a really cool place. The other one I chose was the one about explaining to people what boccia is. I hope you love this post :)
Oona's Story
This week we had to create a story on Oona's perspective until where we are up to now in the story running wild.
I loved these walks even though I did the same everyday I guess I just loved imagining what the kids' faces would be like as they rode me. We were about to turn around when I saw something way out on the horizon, something that no'one else could see a tsunami was coming. That was when I knew we had to go as far away from this very beach as possible.
I suddenly sprinted. I felt a little bad because Will, the boy that was riding me, nearly fell off at first but then he managed to get back up which I was very glad about. He was also probably wondering what I was doing as I suddenly ran into the jungle which was probably a bit scary for him. I just knew that the longer we walked along that beach the more danger we would be in. I ran for what seemed like days and nights while WIll was either sleeping or slapping my neck asking for food and water. Trust me I would get him food but only when we were a safe distance away.
One day when I was just walking we I came across a stream that had no crocodiles which was good so I decided to lie down in the middle so Will could get out and have a big drink of water. He must have been asleep or something because I ended up waiting there for quite some time. Well, it seemed like a very very long time. Finally I felt the wait of Will come off my back and saw WIll swimming across the stream to the other side where he sat and drinked for a long time and really wanted to play with him so I completely submerged myself under the water, the best hide and seek spot ever isn’t it?
He got very grumpy at me. I don’t know why I was just playing. I think he thought that I had just left him so I decided to pop my head back up to the surface to see what he was doing. He looked quite surprised that I had just been trying to play with him and he actually started playing with me which was really fun.
We started walking again and I picked some figs from high up on the branches and gave them to Will. He was really grateful. I ate some too of course but mainly just leaves and twigs.
We walked for a few more hours when I heard a snap of a branch and an orange and black striped shadow emerged into the clearing where we were both standing. It was a tiger. I had had many encounters with these creatures before so I was not worried. WIll probably was though. I said to the tiger to go away and leave us alone or I will stamp on you and you will cry in pain. Guess what he actually went away which is very cool I felt pretty cool too.

Tsunami Writing
This week during lock down we had to do a task on what it would of been like to be on the beach when the tsunami came and how you would feel. We have started a book called running wild and it is about a boy who is on an elephant when a tsunami comes on to the beach that he is riding on. This book is really good so far so maybe you could read it one day. Hope you enjoy it :)
